OFFICINA 2000 industrial services is part of a Group of eight companies specialized in various sectors with a workforce of around 190 people and an aggregate turnover of over € 35.000.000, of which over 20% is aimed at exportation on a European and worldwide level.
OFFICINA 2000 is the company of the Group where construction and maintenance activities of industrial plants within the mechanical sphere and plastic materials are concentrated, besides a specific activity in the railcar field. The company was born in the same year indicated in its name from a joint-venture between Solvay Chimica Italia and OMP, one of the realities of the Group specialized in planning and mechanical construction activities. Following a company take-over which took place in 2018, OFFICINA 2000 incorporated Plastimon srl, the Group’s historical company, highly specialized in the plastic materials sector, which started operating in 1994. At present the workforce at OFFICINA 2000 is over 100 people including engineers, technicians and specialized operators. Its headquarters are situated within the Solvay industrial park in Rosignano, occupying an area of over 5.000 covered m², where there is a railway workshop equipped with a connection to the nearby station in Rosignano Solvay. Furthermore, the company has two separated workshops in Ponteginori (Pisa) and Scarlino (Grosseto).
